Electromagnetic Flow Meters

The Electromagnetic Flow Meters work based on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction by accurately measuring conductive substances in a fluid. These properties include bi-directional flow, pressure loss, and easy installation, and they are suitable for water and wastewater management and chemical processing projects. Electromagnetic flow meters, also called magmeters, are accurate devices for measuring the flow rate of conductive fluids in various fields. They work under Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction, which states that a voltage is developed when a conductor is thrust into a magnetic field. Concerning the application of magmeters, the conductive fluid can be viewed as a conductor, where when passing through the magnetic field of the meter, an electromotive force proportional to the flow velocity is produced. The meter's transmitter converts This voltage into a flow measurement.
